I saw many galleries and artists while visiting Toronto.

Some obscure, some very interesting and some i would rather forget!

The Distillary district had several galleries i really liked including the Corkin gallery and thompson landry gallery .I also covered down town, east and queen and west and queen. What i did find interesting is that although not all the artist were local to Canada, and several were from Europe, I had not seen any of them before. with the exception of a show of Man Ray photography which was a pleasant surprise.

The architecture of Toronto was also interesting yet strange mix of old and very new. Along grid like Mondrian roads were stone victorian churches, grass mounds and gothic house, these were being devoured by overarching phallus like monuments of glass and steel. I wasn’t sure wether to like it or loath it!
